ButcherBox Review + Easy Date Night Recipe

I’ve seen so many people raving about ButcherBox, so when they contacted me about partnering together, I was excited to try it out myself. For those unfamiliar with ButcherBox, it’s a box of high-quality meat delivered straight to your door at a frequency of your choice. One of the most common questions is: is ButcherBox worth it? Since I’ve asked the same question, I’m sharing my ButcherBox review with all my thoughts!

First off, let’s talk about the price. ButcherBox offers a range of options, from a classic curated box (8-11 lbs of pre-selected meat) for $146 per box to a big custom box (18-26 lbs of your choice cuts) for $306 per month. For comparison, I know prices at every local grocery store can fluctuate and vary depending on where you live. Still, for the quality, they seem relatively comparable to my area’s grocery stores.

Although ButcherBox doesn’t necessarily provide cost savings, it does offer time savings (which I guess is cost savings because time is money, right?) if you live farther away from your local grocery store or have to make multiple stops to find what you’re looking for. Plus, the convenience of the delivery subscription service is worth noting. Also, you can pause/cancel at any time.

Aside from the convenience, what appealed to me most was the quality of the meats. From 100% grass-fed beef to free-range organic chicken to pork raised crate-free to wild-caught seafood, you can rest assured that they’re humanely raised with no antibiotics or added hormones.

One more thing I’d be remiss not to mention is their exceptional customer service. For some reason, the carrier couldn’t deliver our boxes a couple of times. When I contacted ButcherBox’s customer service, they responded immediately and sent a replacement box.

Have you tried ButcherBox before? If you haven’t, you can give them a try here. Please feel free to leave any questions in the comments! xo

Easy Sheet Pan Steak

Here’s one of my favorite date night recipes using ButcherBox’s steak. It’s delicious and flavorful, so easy to make, and whips up quickly for dinner. We typically pair it with homemade mashed potatoes and asparagus.

I absolutely love what this company stands for, but hoping one day their prices will go down – even before inflation hit we couldn’t afford this, but to those who can this is a fabulously healthy option.
