Welcome to my bedroom! I can’t believe this room has finally come together after over a year of living here. I’ve been spending a lot of time here lately when Brett’s at work — working, watching movies, relaxing. I love that it’s clutter-free and minimalistic, and I have realized how my living space impacts my overall well-being. So today, I’m sharing my clean, cozy apartment bedroom decor.

Brett is all about buying quality items that last a long time rather than buying an alternative for less that will need replacing quicker. So although some of our bed pieces are pricey, I have never slept better. Growing up, I loved sleeping in hotels when we traveled, and while I still love traveling, there’s nothing better these days than coming home and sleeping in my bed.

We went with neutral colors and touches of pink. Brett was sweet enough to compromise and let me put decorative pillows on the bed, and in exchange, I had to make the bed every morning (which I have!). I settled on two king pillows, three textured euro pillows, two solid standard pillows, and one patterned pillow. However, my favorite piece on the bed is the faux fur blanket. I’m so glad we snagged it on sale because it adds a luxe element to the room.

The other side of our bedroom is barer, and to be honest, it’s not my favorite; I want to add/tweak it, but I’m unsure what to change. If you have any ideas, please let me know in the comments.

Girl, I love your style! The room feels so homey and light. I agree that our living space has an impact on our well-being. I lived in a chaotic place a while back and it definitely added a lot of unnecessary stress.

So pretty! I really like the gray look. We have a lot of gray in our bedroom too, though I’ve accented it with purples. We have a beautiful painting of stonehenge that’s kind of the centerpiece of the room, and it has a purple/pink sunset sky so that’s why I went that direction. My husband has also been into buying quality stuff. We got a new mattress last summer and it’s been amazing. We want a good quality comforter but haven’t found one we love yet!
