Easy Slow Cooker Chili

Servings 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
  • 1 (16 oz) can red kidney beans
  • cups chicken stock or water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • sour cream optional

Instructions

  • In a skillet, brown the ground beef until cooked. Drain grease and place ground beef in slow cooker.
  • Chop onion & green bell pepper and add to slow cooker.
  • Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, red kidney beans, chicken stock/water, and taco seasoning. Stir to combine.
  • Cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Serve with desired toppings such as shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream.
