5 Trader Joe’s Breakfast Items for Quick, Easy Mornings

I admire people who make the time to cook in the mornings before rushing out the door for work. Seriously, who has the time? The most cooking I’ll do for breakfast is throw something in the microwave. If you saw my Trader Joe’s Favorites from last year, all those breakfast items are still faves, but I’ve since discovered a few more. Here are my top 5 Trader Joe’s breakfast items to help make your morning more effortless and delicious.

Chicken Sausage Breakfast Burrito

I’ve been a long-time fan of Trader Joe’s burritos, and this savory chicken sausage breakfast burrito is perfect for busy on-the-go mornings. All you need to do is throw it into the microwave! I love mine with a little hot sauce.

Egg Bites Cheddar Cheese & Uncured Bacon

On a recent Starbucks run, I finally tried the bacon & gruyère egg bites, so I was excited to find these at Trader Joe’s and see how they compare. It’s all personal preference, but I preferred the Trader Joe’s version, which is also slightly more affordable — win-win!

Organic Jumbo Cinnamon Rolls

While this isn’t the most nutritious breakfast option, it makes for a delicious fall treat on the weekend paired with a cup of coffee. These rolls are fluffy and sweet goodness with cinnamon spirals and vanilla icing.

Super Nutty Oat Clusters Cereal

Growing up, I had cereal for breakfast every morning; nowadays, I prefer having a late-night bowl of cereal. Either way, this sweet and crunchy cereal should indulge any sweet tooth cravings with its crispy flakes, crunchy oat clusters, and mix of nuts.

4 Chocolate Croissants

These require some preplanning because they need to sit uncovered on a baking sheet at room temperature overnight (9 hours). But then, in the morning, you only need to pop them in the oven for 20-25 minutes for perfect golden croissants!

I’ve tried the cereals in the past, and I really liked them.
Unfortunately, I’ve moved to a place that doesn’t have a nearby Trader Joe’s. I really liked going there.

Love this, and I love Trader Joes! The one in my town’s 2 buses out and 2 buses back for me, so I’ve only been there a couple times. However, rumor has it there’s gonna be another one opening closer to home for me, but it hasn’t been confirmed either way yet.
